Cape Winelands for Photographers

Load up your camera, and charge your batteries, the Cape Winelands are one of the most beautiful places in South Africa.

We start the day in Paarl, with a visit to the Afrikaans Taal Monument, an impressive structure to look at, but will challenge you photographically. A visit to Franschhoek is next, before we make our way to Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch is situated in an exceptionally beautiful area dominated by the soaring peaks of the Hottenstot-Holland mountain range and is the largest and most established of all the Cape Winelands.
This tour includes two wine tastings, and this is where we would like to here from you… If you are a wine lover, let as know what type of wines you like, if you’re a chocoholic, or love the word “cheese” we arrange a wine and choc pairing, or a wine and cheese pairing, for the artist in you we can visit wine farms with art galleries, and if you don’t drink wine,  you have the choice to taste craft beer, or we simple spend the day taking photographs.

We end the day with a hike on one of the most picturesque wine farms in the region, through the vine yards and Yellowwood forest to the top of Klapmutskop to reward ourselves with fantastic pictures. Klapmutskop is part of Simonsberg Conservancy and a permit is needed to hike on the premises. The best way experience and appreciate the beauty of the Cape Winelands is on foot. Not only will you get great photographs, learn a lot about photography, but also get a bit of exercise!
