People & Portrait Township Tour

If you want to take more interesting photographs, get your camera to more interesting places...

"Lekka in Langa"
The ultimate photographic experience! Get fantastic photographs in the informal settlement of the township Langa, the oldest township in Cape Town. Photograph the colorful shacks, the children playing in the dusty streets and drink home brew Unqumbothi beer at a local shebeen. Meet the locals as they go about their daily activities, and visit a Sangoma (traditional healer) who will happily pose for you while you adjust your ISO to take photographs of him in his dark and mysterious consulting room. To add to your township experience we lunch at a local eatery in Gugulethu.

I believe in giving back to the community, and arrange giveaways like "Township Toy Fun Run", "Bake Beans, Balls and Bully Beef" and "Fun in the Sun" where friends, photographers and members of the community all can get involve with.
We often distribute food parcels, as well as basic necessities back to the people of the townships. I always enjoy printing the photographs that I have taken and handing it back to our willing “models”- and they really enjoy it too!

People and Portrait Tour- Comments
"Excellent tour! Thanks a lot! I really enjoyed the doctors place (Sangoma) and the meat market. As well as all the photographic tips and tricks."

"I enjoyed the first stop the most! The personal attention, flexibility, and having a local guide also. Peter is very patient and goes with the flow. It is also nice being with someone who cares about the community and that gives back!"
